Our last clinic day was a hot one. Even the Cambodians were dodging the sun in an attempt to stay cool. In total, we served over 475 medical patients, over 200 people received vision care, and dozens more received counseling. Our VBS crew hosted hundreds of children this week too. We have truly felt the Lord’s blessing in all of this. He has been our strength in our weakness and our light in the darkness. As we said goodbye to our Cambodian partners and then traveled for over 36 hours to arrive safely at home, I continually heard the Lord saying,
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
So, as we take a moment to process this trip and recuperate from our travels, please enjoy pictures from our last clinic day and final night with our Cambodian partners. We are so thankful for each of you who prayed and provided for this trip. To God be the Glory, Amen.
