As we continue to support our partners in Myanmar throughout the country’s intense period of unrest, we remain steadfast in our calling to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Our team remains committed to providing families with emergency food and medicine, which is currently in scarce supply, and access to education for children who, until recently, had been out of school for almost 2 years due to the pandemic and ongoing military coup.
Your generosity is enabling our ministry to utilize the local church as a community resource during this tumultuous time, and we are so thankful for your partnership in advocating for peace, provision, and Kingdom advancement within the nation of Myanmar!
In April of last year, our Myanmar partners provided a spontaneous Bible training, which enabled around 70 people to hear the Word of God and receive encouragement in the midst of the military coup. “People’s hearts were filled with joy and peace.” – FP Myanmar Program Leader
Freedom’s Promise has also helped supply our partners in Myanmar with food, medical supplies, nurses, and teachers to help individuals and families in the village we serve. With the ongoing war, the people of Myanmar are still feeling the threats and instability of their country.
It’s been an honor to aid our partners as they utilize the local church for many things, such as trafficking awareness workshops and supplemental classes for children. God is on the move and through the Lord’s ongoing provision, we’ve been privileged to walk alongside our partners during this time of crisis.
