And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing. Today we were at the New Life of Hope project again and helped with a building project, hosted Vacation Bible School during the building project and clinic, and saw over 60 patients in the medical clinic. We also had a time of devotional and worship, and another delicious lunch made for us by the Cambodians of the village. The school we helped build was on land donated by a lady who has a deep love and desire to help the children of her community. Not only did she donate her own land for the school building, but she also committed to giving a devotional everyday before school. Her gift of love was a reminder to each of us that works done without love are only a clanging symbol, but when work is done out of love it is all glory and honor to Him, Our Father in Heaven.
