Many organizations will be planning events this month to raise awareness. Freedom's Promise has joined with the National Highway of Prayer for two confernce calls to initiate the global awareness of human trafficking. Twenty leaders will be speaking on the issues including Amber Barron, executive director of Freedom's Promise. These calls are open to the body of Christ around the world to join in prayer and be a voice for the voiceless. Please note that the phone line is limited to 1000 callers. This is a serious issue for American's to better understand and the Marathon will help us raise awareness and provide support to local and Cambodian trafficking survivors. The trip will also begin to asses how Buddhism impacts business practices. Medical work will also occur with the beginning of the implement some medical initiatives. |

Trip members will be providing medical care through day clinics, health eduation, VBS and digging and constructing a toilet for a family. Watch the blog from our home page for updates from the field. This will match our biggest trip yet - 18 people! I know amazing and endearing moments are ahead for the group. |
