Mission

Freedom’s Promise, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, is committed to the prevention of human trafficking and child sex slavery. We are dedicated to raising awareness of adult and child human trafficking while optimizing prevention strategies. We work collaboratively with strategic partners in Cambodia and Nashville to create and implement tangible solutions designed to build a stronger community and a people equipped to fight against human trafficking.

Vision

Freedom’s Promise is a modern day abolitionist group, which believes that every person has a right to freedom and hope. We believe that vulnerable people groups are entitled to education, technical training and resources. Our vision is to equip and empower at-risk communities so they are able to take charge of their circumstances and prevent the victimization of their women and children.

Freedom’s Promise became a non-profit in the state of Tennessee and received its 501c3 in April 2010. Freedom’s Promise is a member of the Nashville Rescue & Restore Coalition, a group of non-profits, lawyers, police, FBI and social workers, trying to raise awareness about human trafficking issues and prevent trafficking in Tennessee. We have also joined the Hope Through Healing Hands Global Health Coalition that promotes an improved quality of life using health as a currency for peace. We are also proud to partner with End Slavery Tennessee, Community Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Operation Broken Silence to address prevention and response strategies for Tennessee.

We would love to hear from you. Please let us know if you have specific questions about what we do, or would like to volunteer with us.
